Sulphur Springs Independent School District is one of 148 public school districts and charter schools across the state “preliminarily selected” to receive a Technology Lending grant, awarded by Texas Education Agency to 148 schools for the 2018-19 school year. SSISD Instructional Technology Coordinator John Bimmerle explained that while SSISD has been “preliminarily selected” as a grant recipient, the process is still in the early stages. “They will finish going over everybody’s applications, then they will tell us how much money we get to spend.
