Northwest’s DeMareus Hosey was named District 4-5A Division II Co-MVP, rushing for 1,938 yards and 26 touchdowns this season. Hosey led the Texans to their first league championship and helped Northwest reach the third round of the playoffs for the first time. The senior ran 149.1 yards per game and 6.9 yards per carry.
